Arkansans,  Arkansas,  Little Rock,  The story we tell....

There exists a group of people who refuse to vote. All politicians are criminals. My vote doesn’t matter. I‘m not political. Whatever the rationalizing refrain of their banality, they are missing out.

Voting is democracy practiced together. A communal exercise of the power retained by the people and withheld from their government.

The people who play a role in the day’s process can see that. From the campaign sign-waivers to the energized candidates, the voters to the poll-workers, everywhere I saw joy written on faces.

The joy of living in a place where people can step out into our communities and together choose our leaders.
